Program Overview
Rising Roots Program
EXPLORERS Ages 18 months-2.5 years:
- Parent-assisted creative movement.
- Focus: Musicality, coordination, bonding.
- Attire: Dancers may wear any comfortable movement clothing or leotard, along with ballet shoes. Hair should be pulled away from the face. The assisting adult should wear attire that allows for easy movement and floor-based interaction.
SPROUTS Age 3: Pink Leotard*
- Ballet, Tap & Jazz independent creative movement and basics.
- Focus: Rhythm, direction, foundational steps.
- Attire: Pink leotard with pink tights and ballet shoes. Hair should be neatly secured and out of the face for safe movement.
BLOOMERS Age 4: Light Blue Leotard*
- Ballet, Tap, and Jazz creative movement & foundational steps.
- Focus: Body awareness, beginner technique, independence.
- Attire: Light Blue leotard with pink tights and ballet shoes. Hair should be secured in a bun or pulled back neatly.
DREAMERS Ages 5-6 | Kinder-1st Grade: Lavendar Leotard*
- Ballet, Tap, and Jazz with structured learning.
- Focus: Confidence, musicality, classroom routine.
- Attire: Lavender leotard with pink tights, ballet shoes, and tap shoes. A ballet skirt or fitted dance shorts may be worn if desired. Hair should be styled in a clean bun.
Creative Pathways Program
MOVERS 2nd-3rd Grade: Periwinkle Leotard*
- Intro to combo classes and styles.
- Focus: Ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, creative expression.
CREATORS 4th-6th Grade: Dark Teal Leotard*
- Developing technique across multiple styles.
- Focus: Form, versatility, performance skills.
VISIONARIES 7th-9th Grade: Black Cherry Leotard*
- Intermediate training with artistic growth.
- Focus: Technique, expression, stage confidence.
INNOVATORS: 10th – 12th Grade: Slate Blue Leotard*
- Pre-professional performance training.
- Focus: Advanced polish, leadership, collegiate prep.
*You can purchase and/or order your designated leotard color, tights and required footwear at the front desk of the studio.
